UK National Bingo - BIG’N Jackpot Won!
Monday, November 12th, 2007An East London Bingo Player won the first ever Gold Jackpot awarded by the new BIG’N National Bingo game, winning more than £½ million!
The entire place went wild, cheers went up, bingo players clapped, yelled, laughed, as one of their own took down the jackpot totaling £566,525 at the Gala Club located in East Ham. In fact, there was just one person in the bingo club not whooping, hollering, and otherwise celebrating at the top of her lungs, that person, the winner, sat stunned, in disbelief.
The 41 year old Docklands woman has only been a member of the Barking Road club since last June, she has been playing regularly though, once a week since the day she joined.
The lucky winner’s name has not yet been released, however we do know that she was the very first person to call bingo out of the 470 clubs playing nationwide, winning the £100,000 top prize along with the club prize of £150, by far enough to excite anyone into silence.
There was further surprise however, as it would seem the seven numbers it took to win the prize, were the very same seven numbers required to win the BIG’N jackpot prize of £466,375.
The BIG’N game was launched in September by the UK National Bingo, to date there have been six winners of the silver jackpot, and no winners of the platinum jackpot. The platinum jackpot is currently over one million pounds.
